Job Summary:
The primary function of the product manager is to provide product management to Windsor product lines. Responsible for all Windsor products, product positioning, pricing, marketing and competitive analysis. This candidate will work hand-in-hand with the Director of Sales, Director of Product Development, Marketing, Product Engineering and Divisional Sales Managers on all aspects of the Windsor product offering.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Point person for the development of new Windsor products including marketing, sales, financial, product engineering and manufacturing aspects.
- Acts as a liaison between sales, product development and operations to help assure the availability, quality and delivery to effectively service customer demand.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree
• 5+ years of window experience
• An understanding and experience with development of products, product marketing and product pricing
• Ability to lead and influence groups of people and facilitate constructive discussion and brainstorming
• Strong understanding of the window and door manufacturing process
• Strong understanding of analytical concepts, financial measures and statistical analysis
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all aspects of the business from suppliers to all levels of the Windsor organizations as well as customers

• Strong computer skills including buy not limited to SAP, Business Intelligence (BI), Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Excel and the use of pivot tables for analyzing data

Physical Demands:
This position will be located at the Windsor location in West Des Moines, IA. Primarily office environment. Will be required to spend time on the factory floor.
Travel:
Travel will be required and involve field site visits, customers, suppliers, trade shows, association meetings, and travel to other Windsor/Woodgrain locations.
