Under the direction of the Divisional Safety Manager, the Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all employees. Need to conduct dept inspections, training in classroom and production RIR. Provide first aid, prepare required reports (ie Accident - Injury Forms) and update online. Coordinator will also assist with corrective measures, research and compile regulatory data, policy enforcement, and coordinator the safety committee. Additionally, they will present the monthly corporate calls concerning safety updates.
Hours 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday (10 hours) - some possible later start days occasionally.
Friday/Saturday as needed (8 hours)
Entry level position. Required: 1-2 years office, production and/or safety experience. OSHA 10 hr, First Aid, AED, and CPR. Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint. Ability to present/train in front of large and small groups. Read, write, and speak English.
