Job Summary:
The Human Resources Representative supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department and serves as a key resource for employees and leaders within the facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level HR professional looking to build a career in Human Resources. The successful candidate will gain exposure to multiple HR disciplines and have opportunities to participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives that support the organization's workforce and business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee information within HRIS systems, including SuccessFactors and Workforce.
- Maintain personnel files, I-9 records, and medical files in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Generate and maintain HR reports, including headcount, wage reports, onboarding metrics, birthdays, anniversaries, and other workforce data.
- Support departmental projects and continuous improvement efforts as assigned.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and workplace concerns.
- Assist with employee recognition programs, service anniversaries, and engagement initiatives.
- Create employee communications, postings, and informational materials.
- Support company events, activities, and employee programs.
Preferred requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Previous HR, recruiting, administrative, customer service, or manufacturing experience.
Additional Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment.
This position is required to be in the office at one of our designated facilities and is NOT a remote position.
