Employment Type: Hourly FT

Work Environment: Monday through Friday 6am – 2:30pm

 

Job Summary:

Windsor Windows & Doors, a leading manufacturer of wood and vinyl windows and patio doors has an immediate opening for a facility maintenance technician at the West Des Moines, Iowa location.

 

This candidate must have good knowledge of building skills including HVAC, plumbing, drywall installation, painting, and general building repair.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall appearance of facilities which includes performing maintenance – tasks such as carpentry, minor electrical, painting and patching of office and kitchen equipment, walls, ceiling tiles, carpeting, etc.
  • Conduct physical inspections of the facility, grounds, hallways, common areas, and restrooms noting anything that might need repair, maintenance or clean-up. Create work orders based on your findings and follow up with those
  • Monitor custodial services performed by cleaning staff, landscaping and other vendors
  • Receive and respond to requests of issues on the premises
  • Sufficient computer skills required for diagnostic applications
  • Work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects
  • Always maintain safety procedures

 

Requirements:

Previous experience required

Candidate will need to adapt at using a variety of hand and electrical tools
