Employment Type: Hourly FT
Work Environment: On-site Monday – Friday. Combination office, manufacturing, and customer-facing environment. Travel and relocation may be required for future territory assignments.

 

Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Leadership Associate participates in Windsor’s Regional Sales Manager Development Program (RSMDP), a structured 18-24 month development program designed to prepare high-potential candidates for a career in outside sales leadership. Through comprehensive training, operational exposure, customer engagement, and progressive sales responsibilities, participants develop the skills and business knowledge required for promotion to Regional Sales Manager and successful territory management.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

I.    Sales Development & Training
•    Complete orientation and onboarding while learning Windsor’s products, operations, and organizational structure.
•    Develop product knowledge, customer service skills, and foundational sales competencies.
•    Participate in Windsor University and complete required training and certification programs.
•    Manage assigned inside sales accounts while building customer relationships.
•    Successfully complete all phases of the Regional Sales Manager Development Program.

II.    Operational & Cross-Functional Experience
•    Rotate through key departments including manufacturing, warehouse, quality, scheduling, and shipping.
•    Attend cross-functional meetings to gain operational and business insight.
•    Learn company systems, processes, and sales support functions.
•    Develop a comprehensive understanding of operations and customer experience.
•    Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support business objectives.

III.    Sales & Customer Engagement
•    Transition into active sales responsibilities, including quoting and proposal preparation.
•    Shadow experienced Regional Sales Managers to observe customer interactions and territory management.
•    Develop presentation, public speaking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
•    Lead product training sessions and sales presentations for internal and external audiences.
•    Learn to identify customer needs, address objections, and effectively leverage competitive market information.

IV.    Territory Management & Business Growth
•    Participate in territory planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis activities.
•    Build and maintain relationships with key customer influencers and decision-makers.
•    Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
•    Support customer acquisition and business growth initiatives.
•    Prepare for promotion into a Regional Sales Manager role with responsibility for an assigned sales territory.

Requirements:
•    Recent college graduate or equivalent related experience.
•    Associate degree required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
•    Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to build relationships and manage customer accounts effectively.
•    Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
•    Willingness to relocate for future territory assignments.
•    Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
