Employment Type: Hourly FT

Work Environment: Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm. Norwalk, IA

 

Job Summary:

The Cycle Counter establishes and implements cycle count plans according to Windsor policy. Reports and analyzes inventory inaccuracies and trends. Reconciles inaccuracies within the inventory database. Research to find the root cause of inventory discrepancies. Works with materials, manufacturing and purchasing to rectify issues with inventory counts and accounts payable issues associated with receipts. Communicates metrics and performance to objectives for warehouse accuracy, inventory adjustments, and inventory accuracy related issues.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assure departmental compliance with all established policies
  • Updating cycle count reports and metrics
  • Collecting and reporting data associated with critical line disruptions

 

Additional Skills:

 

  • Attention to detail
  • Previous SAP experience preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to perform arithmetic calculations involving simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and percentages
  • Ability to work independently, yet interact with functions closely related

 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment.

 

Travel:

This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
