Starting Salary: Hourly $21.00 - $25.00
Employment Type: Hourly FT
Work Environment: Monday – Thursday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm OT as needed
Job Summary:

· Is a key support member to operations, quality, and Continuous Improvement and demonstrates the company philosophy of “Easy To Do Business With (ETDBW)”, to ensure that customers have an excellent experience.
· Work with the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and drive projects to improve processes and quality, relying on solid payback metrics.
· Support CI activity and completion of identified opportunities.
· Other duties as assigned by management.

Primary Responsibilities
· Develop, maintain, and revise Standard Work Combination Sheets (SWCS) for the work to be performed for each job function.
· Lead and implement projects with the goal of reducing internal and external cost, while improving product and process quality.
· Estimates manufacturing costs, evaluating time standards, and making recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new and existing product lines.
· Lead the development of visual standard work instructions/aids.
· Utilizes the concepts of Principles of Continuous Improvement and cost reduction in execution of the job function.
· Assist in leading Root Cause Analysis initiatives and track and complete A3 reports to quantify results and ensure sustained problem resolution.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while working in a changing environment.
· Track project results as well as weekly project progress and updates.
Requirements:
Currently in college completing a Business Degree, Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Critical thinking and attention to detail required.
Previous experience in CI helpful but not required
Additional Skills:
Green Belt Preferred
Understanding of 5S preferred
Training in Lean/Six Sigma preferred
