Position Summary
The operations lead works closely with management to forecast operational needs and establish daily team goals. This role supports efficient workflow by reallocating resources, people, equipment, and time to meet performance objectives. The lead assists in employee development, monitors progress, and helps ensure team members are meeting established standards.
Duties and Responsiblities
- Collaborate with management to forecast workload and set daily performance goals
- Assist in allocating and adjusting staffing, equipment, and time to meet operational objectives
- Support recruitment and retention of employees capable of meeting performance expectations
- Assist in training employees on proper task completion and safe work practices
- Monitor team progress and coach employees to achieve established goals
- Participate in evaluating individual and team performance, providing recognition and corrective feedback as appropriate
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

1–3 years of forklift experience preferred

1–3 years of warehouse experience preferred

Strong time management and organizational skills (reliable attendance is required)

Solid problem-solving abilities

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Physical Demands

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and stretching

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
