Summary: The Millwork Specialist in Pocket Doors is responsible for efficiently building and pulling orders for shipment, ensuring that the order is complete, accurate, and free of damage; appropriately lifts and stacks materials. The team members are asked to assist other departments as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Multitasking and time management skills.
• Safely assist in the manufacturing of high-quality materials while palletizing.
• Ensure products ordered meet specifications, has no damage by the due date.
• Operating machinery, power tools, or power equipment.
• Good numerical skills and an understanding of statistics.
• Detail-oriented and organizational skills.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years forklift experience required (Electric, Standing.)
• 1-3 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
Physical Demands
You will be standing and walking for a large part of the day.
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel and stretch.
Work Environment
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to heights; regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat related to weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud in some areas.
Travel
This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
