Estimated Weekly Earnings: $1,200 - $1,700+

- $0.63 per mile + $30.00 per stop or per day (whichever is greater)

Job Summary:
The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor/trailer to transport and deliver Woodgrain products to customers in accordance with company policies, customer requirements, DOT regulations, and applicable laws. This position plays an important role in providing reliable service to Woodgrain customers while ensuring the safe handling and delivery of company products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate tractor/trailer safely in accordance with Company policies, DOT regulations, and traffic laws
- Complete and document pre- and post-trip inspections
- Secure cargo properly before and during transport
- Deliver products according to assigned routes, schedules, and manifests
- Open and close trailer doors and assist with unloading at customer locations
- Assist customers with handling and positioning product as needed
- Scan product tags and inspect products for accuracy and quality during unloading
- Obtain customer signatures on proof of delivery and submit documentation to the Dispatcher
- Operate and maintain the Mobile Electronic On-Board Recording Device
- Promptly report vehicle or equipment issues, product damage, accidents, and traffic violations
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Current Class A CDL
- At least 2 years verifiable tractor trailer commercial driving experience that has been within the past 3 years
- No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years and no more than 3 within the past 7 years
- No DUIs within the last 7 years
- No reckless driving, speeding 15mph and over, leaving the scene of an accident in the past 3 years
- No at-fault DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years
- Must be able to obtain a new DOT certified medical card and pass a WorkWell Physical Abilities test at time of hire
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to press, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to perform duties related to customer stops, that can total 14 or more in a week. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
