Position Summary: The Recruiter is responsible for creating and executing recruitment strategies, managing the recruitment process, and providing guidance and support to our hiring managers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully recruiting for a variety of positions across multiple states.  The Recruiter must consistently demonstrate the company’s Mission and Values.  They must be customer service-oriented as well as team-oriented and must have good organizational skills.

 

Starting Salary: $24-$29

 

Employement Type: Full-Time, Hourly 

 

Work Environment: In-Person, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm 

 

Recruiter Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a supportive work environment and an engaged workforce consistent with the Woodgrain values and culture
  • Initiate the creation of driver DQ File by sending link to the application
  • Maintain and update accurate employee personnel files and database information
  • Implement recruiting protocols and best practices
  • Digitally recruit and onboard new hires
  • Collaborate with all levels of managers and supervisors
  • Reviewing resumes, conducting pre-screen interviews
  • Use and maintain applicant tracking system to respond to applicants and potential employees who meet DOT and company requirements
  • Calling and responding to calls candidates and hiring managers quickly
  • Pre-screen potential applicants
  • Inform company benefits and pay structure to candidates
  • Submit background checks, MVR and Drug screen for hire candidates
  • Utilize social media platforms and other search engines to generate leads
  • Enter new employee information in SuccessFactors and creating personnel file
  • Updating recruiting tracker on a daily basis
  • Completing weekly/monthly reports documenting progress
  • Other duties as assigned by HR manager
  • Works with HR team to collaborate and assist in resolving recruiting issues
  • Support HR management with general and specialized HR projects as assigned
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to generate trust, avoid hidden agendas, be honest and accountable, maintain confidentiality, and behave ethically.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Some experience with HRIS and talent management systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Reading and interpreting financial statements
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practices and procedures
  • Excellent customer service and clerical skills
  • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks at a time
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of professional recruiting experience 
  • Knowlegde of FMCSA driver requirements preferred
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook 
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
