$23.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The HR Administrator will provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department. This position will assist with employee onboarding, maintain personnel records, support day-to-day HR functions, and serve as a resource for employee questions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing paperwork, scheduling orientations, and ensuring completion of required documents.
  • Maintain and organize personnel files and HR records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide administrative support for HR programs, processes, and initiatives.
  • Assist employees with routine HR questions and direct them to appropriate resources when needed.
  • Support HR staff in scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and other clerical tasks.
  • Process data entry into HR systems and verify accuracy of information.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling employee information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in business or HR preferred.
  • Previous experience in administrative, clerical, or HR support role preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment, though this person is expected to occasionally be on and work in the manufacturing floor/environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. 

Travel:

This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
