Salary: $23.00 Per Hour + Quarterly Bonus 

Summary:

Position will be responsible for performance of tasks outlined below and other tasks as requested. This position will report to the Retail Support Manager, but will receive additional task requests from National Account Manager and others.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Handle incoming calls from regional big box customer and field service reps
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or credits.
  • Manage incoming orders via EDI to see that they are promptly dropped to the warehouse
  • Monitor scheduled shipment and service dates to ensure timely delivery and in-store service
  • Provide weekly tracking/updates for various regional big box service projects
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the Distribution big box service team
  • Maintain proficiency in using computer, data entry software, and other common office equipment and software
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and associates
  • Cross-training within multiple departments
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Bilingual (English and Spanish) Preferred. 

 

 

Education and/or Experience:                                      

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Other Skills and Abilities:

Employee should have above average skills in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.  They should have the ability to prioritize daily workflow, multi task and meet deadlines. They should have accuracy, discretion, excellent communication skills both oral and written, and attention to detail a must.  Employee must have time manage skills, be self-motivated and aggressive, be able to build relationships via telephone, and maintain a positive attitude at all times. SAP experience is a plus.
