Job Summary:
Regional Sales representation for Woodgrain Door Division manufacturing in the South East Region: NC, SC, TN, GA, AL, MS, FL, Caribbean. Selling and promoting Woodgrain products to door and millwork distributors throughout the region and working to promote the Woodgrain Brand and Way. Lead and manage the sales process with all customers in the sales territory. Driven to enhance and grow existing programs and identify new business opportunities, introduce new product lines, expert understanding of current product line knowledge, supplying customer with literature and pricing, and work with the customer to grow and promote the sale of all Woodgrain products. Be the expert and trusted resource for our customer partners while working closely cross-functionally with teams at our manufacturing plants, supply chain, and customer service to “Make it Happen.”
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Possess an affinity for sales/marketing and selling products and the sales process.

- Investigate and resolve customer issues to create solutions for company and customer.
- Communicate effectively across all channels- customers, internally, and with ownership.
- Prepare and present presentations for customers and dealers for regular training and product knowledge for groups of 5 to 50+
- Maintain up to date product knowledge on all product lines- be the expert and own it.
- Develop and maintain sales budget for the region.
- Establish and maintain a regular sales schedule and meeting cadence with all customers.
- Cultivate a trustworthy relationship with the customer.
- Help establish and maintain optimum inventory levels necessary to meet customer demand- forecasting and budgeting for the region by products and customers.
- Prepare quotes, credit terms, and sales contracts for customer programs.
- Maintain and build excel sheets to organize customer pricing for the region.
- Prepare reports of business transactions and business expense accounts.
- Work with other regional managers to help solve issues and follow best practices.
- Regular communication with management informed about all sales areas, i.e., pricing, service complaints, competition, and new products.
- Attend sales meetings, plant tours and regional sales conferences / shows.
- Flexibility in schedule to spend nights out of town with 70-75% travel.
Qualifications
- College Bachelor’s degree and/or related sales or industry experience/training.
- 5+ years Sales Experience required.
- Industry experience in doors, millwork, windows, building materials preferred.

- Experience with online or client-based quoting software
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, margin, interest, proportions, percentages, and volume.
- Understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to read and interpret documents- safety rules, instructions, and product manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and the ability to speak effectively in front of individuals and large groups.
- Frequently required to stand; drive, walk, sit, fly, talk, or listen. Required to travel approximately 4 days a week with 1 day a week in the office.
- Complete door inspections in the field and at customer warehouse- moving and stacking wood doors, 50lbs/each.
Reporting Line and Supervisory Responsibilities
- Reports to the Vice President of Sales - Door Division
- No direct reports for supervisory responsibilities
Physical Demands
Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently. Regular bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, turning, and walking. Frequently required to stand for long periods.
Work Environment
Exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise level is moderate to high. Hot to cold temperatures and dust.
