Summary:
The Millwork Laborer is responsible for handling and processing large MDF panels and assisting in millwork operations. This role requires a high level of physical strength, stamina, and attention to safety due to the size and weight of the materials involved. The Millwork Laborer plays a key role in preparing materials for production by feeding, stacking, packaging, and transporting product using forklifts and manual techniques.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maneuvers MDF panels (4' x 16', 150-200 lbs) by sliding and pushing them into gang rip saws
  • Processes approximately 400–600 MDF panels daily
  • Operates an 8,000 lb forklift to transport 16' wide materials
  • Navigates tight warehouse spaces with precision and care
  • Performs repetitive tasks including feeding, stacking, packaging, loading, and unloading
  • Follows all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area
  • Assists with moving material for production needs or outbound shipping

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in a physically demanding warehouse, manufacturing, or millwork environment strongly preferred. Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
