Job Summary:
Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, the Mill Grader would load and/or offload interior moulding from the manufacturing line and inspect for quality defects in order to meet customer specifications and established quality standards.  The grader may also stack packaged cartons of material onto pallet for finishing.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Load and/or Unload Interior moulding from Production line.
•    Inspect moulding for Quality defects.
•    Stack moulding into rolling rack.
•    Transfer manufactured material from manufacturing line into carton.
•    Transfer finished cartons from manufacturing line onto pallets.
•    Proper PPE Usage while performing all job duties.
•    Ensure accuracy and quality of all deliverables.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:
•    High school diploma or equivalent.
•    Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for long periods during a shift.
•    Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including temperature-controlled environments.

•    Effective time management and organizational skills.
•    The ability to read and comprehend written instructions as required to complete assigned tasks.
•    Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment, e.g. safety glasses, hearing protection, and other PPE as required by specific jobs.
•    High level attention to detail.

 

Physical Demands:
This position occasionally requires long hours and occasional weekend work. The employee is expected to be able to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.


Travel: 
This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
