Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all production and facility equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency. This position requires strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLC logic, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Safety and attention to detail are critical in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Safety First! Adhere to all company and OSHA safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
•    Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on all facility and production equipment according to schedule.
•    Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
•    Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
•    Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
•    Communicate effectively with production and engineering teams regarding equipment status and repair needs.
•    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

Qualifications:
•    Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (including high voltage exceeding 480V).
•    Experience with PLC logic and controls, including systems such as Omron, Idec, Beckhoff, and Allen-Bradley.
•    Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
•    Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to production equipment.
•    Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
•    Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•    Must be safety-oriented, self-motivated, and able to adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
•    Completion of a trade school program emphasizing industrial electricity and PLC logic, with a certificate OR a minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
•    Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.

Physical Demands:
•    Requires standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and performing tasks in various environments and temperatures.
•    Must be able to climb, crawl, kneel, and work in various physical positions as needed to access and repair equipment.

Work Environment:
•    Industrial/manufacturing setting.
•    May require occasional overtime or on-call availability.

Travel
This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations regularly.
