Job Summary:
The Master Data Coordinator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy and consistency of master data across various systems and departments. This role is crucial for ensuring that all production information, specifications, and related data are up-to-date.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively create and maintain material master items in SAP
- Generate and manage process orders in the ERP system
- Enhance ship on time of all orders through the department and release of achievable productions schedules for assigned work centers
- Notify department leadership of customer order changes or expedites
- Evaluate material flow through manufacturing to identify critical bottlenecks and provide detailed scheduling considerations for those areas
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
- Production scheduling experience preferred
- 2 years of experience in mater data management, data analysis or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Physical Demands:
The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment, though this person is expected to work in the manufacturing floor/environment as needed. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee may occasionally lift of move up to 25 pounds.
