Starting Salary: $17.50 (Increases at 3, 6, 12 months)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: MONDAY - THURSDAY  3:30 PM TO 2:00 AM - OT HOURS - 6 Hour Shift on Fridays (when applicable) 

 

Summary
The purpose of this position is to safely manufacture high-quality products to specifications, while meeting or exceeding productivity targets. Team members may have different roles or positions, such as building, door pull, glass pull, and palletizing. Team members work together in the millwork facility to ensure that the product ordered by the store or customer meets their specifications, has no damage, and gets to the store by the due date. Some of the tasks performed by team members involve operating machinery, power tools, or power equipment. A team member may be assigned to receive and put away stock using power equipment, assemble products using machinery or power tools, or load outbound trucks using power equipment. The activities performed by Team Members are instrumental in a facility achieving or exceeding key performance indicator metrics.

 

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Multitasking and time management skills.
•    Ability to work as part of a team.

•    Safely assist in the manufacturing of high-quality materials.
•    Operating machinery, power tools, or power equipment. 

•    Good numerical skills and an understanding of statistics.
•    Detail-oriented and organizational skills.

 

Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required.

1-3 years forklift experience preferred (Standing, Electric)
1-3 years warehouse experience preferred.

Excellent time management and organizational skills. (On-time attendance is a must.)

Good problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills; can civilly collaborate and interact with others.

 

Physical Demands
You will be standing and walking for a large part of the shift.
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch. 

 

Work Environment
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to heights; regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat related to weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud in some areas.  

 

Travel
This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
