$75000 - $90000

Work Environment:
Exposed to moving mechanical parts, with noise levels ranging from moderate to high, and subjected to Hot to cold temperatures and dust.

Job Summary:

Plans, organizes, and directs the maintenance and repair operations of the Leesburg facility. Includes fabrication and new construction needed to improve and update facility. Member of the management team providing information and feedback. Develops and implements maintenance policy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Complete safety orientation training, observe all safety policies and procedures, including use of required protective equipment (PPE)
  • Schedule and supervise the Maintenance Department in the construction, maintenance, and repair of machinery and facilities at the Leesburg location
  • Supervise maintenance team including training and evaluation of these areas. Create a welcoming and functional team environment
  • Promote and drive team member development through continuous education, mentoring, and constructive feedback to guide career development
  • Assist the maintenance personnel when needed to analyze and formulate strategies for accomplishing job assignments
  • Facilitate, guide, and direct the implementation and use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software
  • Track and control the spare parts inventory
  • Estimate construction, maintenance, and repair costs
  • Schedule and direct rebuild projects
  • Complete all necessary documentation required by company policy, federal and state laws
  • Monitor maintenance personnel’s compliance with established procedures and compliance with all safety rules and regulation
  • Participate in organizational planning and engineering meetings
  • Order materials and supplies used for construction, maintenance, and repair
  • Communicate with operators, vendors, other operations, OSHA, EPQ, DEQ as needed to share necessary information
  • Respond to calls, texts, emails at any hour as needed to respond to maintenance needs
  • Work under deadlines to ensure plant and equipment is operational and projects are completed on time

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree in related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10 years mechanical experience, preferably manufacturing
  • Previous supervisory experience

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to communicate with various stakeholders verbally, in writing, and through radio
  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of maintenance regulations and practices with ability to apply them in the business.
  • Strong computer skills required especially in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MasterCAM
  • Demonstrated skills in project planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting
  • Detail oriented, accurate, and critical thinker
  • Ability to be a team player, a leader, and proactive in a production environment

Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, as well as regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively through hearing and speaking. The role involves frequent bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, turning, and walking, along with prolonged periods of standing. At times, it also requires sitting at a desk to work on a computer. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. Additionally, the job may involve working in confined spaces and at heights.

Travel:

This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
