PRIMARY ROLE: The National Account Home Depot Customer Service Representative is responsible for efficient and accurate daily operations relating to Home Depot and Woodgrain’s field service team.  

JOB EXPECTATIONS: 

  • Handle incoming calls from Home Depot stores and field service reps 

  • Accurately process customer transactions such as special orders, quotes, and credits/returns.  

  • Run the Missing Order Report daily for FSR team and track responses 

  • Run the USVI-PR Last Week Activity Report each Monday. 

  • Complete special-order billing weekly and maintain CHUB 

  • Create the First Phone Logins for field service reps 

  • Input field service requests for POP, Shim Boxes, Dowel Racks, M-Bars, etc. 

  • Run the EDI sales order report weekly 

  • Run the pricing difference report 2x weekly 

  • Dispute Monthly RDC Chargebacks 

  • Responsible for managing Field Service Projects  

  • Responsible for reviewing and analyzing Home Depot Reports 

  • Provides back up to the National Account 3PL Support Coordinator 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an above average level of accuracy, discretion, attention to detail, and communication skills, both verbal and written. This individual is responsible for touching all aspects of the Home Depot customer service process for the National Account team; time management will be a top priority. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and persistent, channeling these characteristics into building relationships that grow top line sales.  

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel 

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work with various departments within the organization, including the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Woodgrain team members. 

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures 

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  

  • Required to stand, walk, sit, and hear.   

  • Able to use hands and fingers on a (computer) keyboard and other office equipment. 

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.  

  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.  

  • The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
