Starting Salary: $60,000 - $72,000 (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salary
Work Environment: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

Job Summary:
The IT Site Administrator plays a vital role in providing secondary level support to resolve IT issues for the assigned Woodgrain location. This position is responsible for maintaining high-quality services, equipment, and processes. The Site Administrator coordinates with other departments, such as infrastructure, to implement best practice solutions that are designed for their site.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer and communication systems, including LAN, WAN, Desktop PC, and telecom systems. Provide end user, network, server, printers, and computer peripherals (hardware and software) troubleshooting and support to assure all supported employees can access network and software applications. 

* Support smooth deployments of new applications, systems, or any additional hardware. 

* Provide timely responses to questions and concerns on incidents, changes, or projects regarding assigned locations.

* Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to provide project management support, technical deployment assistance, and insight on onsite services for production operability.

* Perform incident management by creating, tracking, and updating incidents and requests more than what is required and ensuring accurate documentation of problem resolution and historical data is provided.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical area such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business. Equivalent training and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

* At least 2 years of previous experience and/or training in a similar IT service related position. 

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects at one time. 

* Must be open to travel to other U.S. sites, as needed.


Additional Skills:
Experience with desktop/notebook computers and related operating systems, MS office, servers and other networking equipment, server software. 

* Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills to be leveraged across virtual platforms and in-person.

* Strong customer service abilities and abilities to interact with professionalism, composure, and empathy.

* Ability to review projects, problems, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

* Commitment to quality and achieving results that are oriented to detail and task completion.

Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. 

 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands and work environment for this role align with those of a standard office setting. While performing job duties, the employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, sit, use hands for handling objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as well as talk and hear. This role may occasionally require lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. 

 

Travel:

This position does require travel to other Woodgrain locations, expected travel time will be on an as-needed basis up to 25%.
