Job Summary:
The IT Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of data from various sources to support the enterprise's operations at all levels. This position will support the Business Warehouse functionality to include testing, data analytics, and design in support of system maintenance and enhancements. A main priority of this role is to develop and enforce consistent data collection processes and accurate, efficient flow of data both to and from the enterprise groups.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop processes and workflows for the capturing and accurate analysis of data from a variety of sources.
- Support BI Developers with BW extractors, Master Data, DSOs, Cubes, Composite Providers, Open Hub Extracts in order to provide the organization with data insights for report design and development.
- Utilize standard data analytic practices to both capture, analyze, and improve that mitigates inconsistencies or interruptions.
- Assist in the analysis and presentation of data in support of continuous improvement efforts.
- Capture business requirements and help to translate into detailed technical specifications.
- Perform data extraction from files, databases, and other collection methods accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare routine reports, visuals, and other on-going data information as requested for internal and external use.
- Contribute to the development of tools used in communicating data to different audiences.
- Collaborate with business users to create materials and resources to understand data analytics in their operations.
- Work as a member of a team to develop strategies for an effective flow of data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical areas such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business. Equivalent training and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 3 years of SAP related experience in which creating, summarizing, reporting, and/or maintaining consistent, up-to-date data was a primary function (other ERP experience may be considered).
- Previous experience developing SAP BW extractors, Master Data, DSOs, Cubes, Composite Providers, Open Hub Extracts, and creating complex chains and monitoring data loads.
- Strong understanding of backroom processes and languages, including but not limited to Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud, SQL Server Database, XML and HTML.

Travel: This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
