Pay: 16.50 Per hour  + Plus Quarterly Bonus + Benefits

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: 1St shift 6am – 2:30 PM


Job Summary:

The Assembler I has multiple responsibilities including but are not limited to: accurately filling and scanning of customer orders prior to shipment, operating a forklift  for the purpose of loading material onto trucks for shipment and unloading material and other supplies. Typical unit length is 16’. The Assembler I is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of  the organization of the shipping warehouse. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently moves material from warehouse to staging locations for loading.

Performs replenishment duties, which include the moving of full and empty racks in accordance with SOP.

Operates a handheld scanner to track material in warehouse locations.

Performs order puller duties as needed, including the following: efficiently picks customer orders for shipment ensuring that the order is complete, accurate, and free of damage; appropriately lifts and stacks material on carts to ensure material may be properly banded/wrapped; prints and places shipping labels on materials.

Assists with physical inventories as required.

Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Complies with company safety policies and OSHA standards.

 

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, experience in previous finance role preferred

* Proficient computer and 10 key operation skills (at least be able to type 45 WPM)

* Participation in a revolving, on-call schedule to release orders as necessary

 

Additional Skills:

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.

* Knowledge of basic accounting practices and procedures.

* Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks at a time.

* Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.

 

Physical Demands: The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
