Starting Salary: $17.00 - $20.00

Work Environment: Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm with overtime including extended hours and Saturday as needed.
Job Summary:

Duties & Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities will vary depending on which role you are placed in, but common responsibilities include:
- Setup and changeover machines for daily operation including adjusting heads, jointing, and machine controls.
- Operating forklifts and performing transactions on a handheld scanner.
- Sorting, stacking, and grading products.
- Performing quality checks and inspections on product.
- Working as a part of a team to meet our customer’s needs.
Requirements:
Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities will vary depending on which role you are placed in, but common qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Interest in working in a manufacturing environment
- Basic mechanical abilities
- Previous experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
Physical Demands:
The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderate to high depending on the area of the mill. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme hot and cold temperatures.

This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
