POSITION OVERVIEW:

Develop and implement regional pricing strategies that lead to the measurable attainment of business goals and increase price maturity within the organization. Be a trusted business partner to the assigned Regional Vice President and support Sales, General Managers and Product Managers to implement pricing across multiple product lines and customers. Provide reporting and data to regional stakeholders to support pricing decisions. Position reports directly through Corporate Operations Pricing Manager.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with key stakeholders to understand the company’s vision, mission, and strategy; understand regional objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly
  • Supports the company’s margin and pricing strategic plans / profitability goals. Looks for consistency between the sales and pricing strategies. Establishes pricing programs aligned with product / sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements
  • Develop business reports for decision-making processes to maintain pricing competitiveness and maximize profits
  • Design and perform timely price analyses. Conduct pricing reviews for the business units served
  • Understand all pricing programs and ensure accuracy and consistent application. Implement pricing strategies in customer deliverables and update the system pricing in a timely fashion
  • Troubleshoot pricing anomalies and inconsistencies
  • Question low margin or errors from Sales. Communicate with General Managers and Sales Managers. Maintains current knowledge of relevant pricing procedures and practices
  • Manage and improve the catalog process by standardizing the processes and work files used to create and publish catalogs
  • Work in conjunction with IT to develop tools that improve the publishing of pricing information (catalogs) to customers

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

·Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university with emphasis in management and analysis.  Prefer experience with functions of INFOR.

·         Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and a strong ability to utilize Excel (Advanced) and data base tools such as BRIO.

  • Requires strong verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in a consistent, efficient, and concise manner.  Ability to draft and edit correspondence using proper language, spelling and grammar. 
  • Understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is required.
