Job Summary:
The Purchasing Administrator supports the procurement team by managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, tracking deliveries, and ensuring accurate documentation of purchasing activities. This role ensures timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining compliance with company policies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain and update supplier databases, contracts, and pricing records
- Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, shipments, and purchase orders
- Generate procurement reports and maintain accurate purchasing documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations
Requirements:
- High School diploma required, preference will be given to higher education in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
- Have at least 2 year of previous work experience in a similar position, with focus on Supply Chain, to include strong buying and logistics emphasis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook
Additional Skills:
- Strong organizational abilities plus an attention to detail.
- The ability to solve problems independently or within a group setting.
- Must have strong written and verbal skills.
- Must possess strong Excel experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
