Purpose How does the position contribute to the success of the operation, division and company? |

This role is responsible for safely and efficiently driving tractor/trailer to transport product to customers according to company guidelines, customer requirements, and applicable law.

Physical Demands and Work Environment What working conditions or physical functions are normally required to perform the essential functions of the job? |

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Employee must be able to pull a 175 lbs trailer curtain open and closed at each stop as well as un-strap and re-strap to secure the remaining load. An average day will include 8 customer stops. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
All applicants must be able to obtain a new DOT certified medical card, pass a WorkWell Physical Abilities test, and pass a road test at time of hire. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. |
